HerPlayBook Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to HerPlayBook. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HerPlayBook platform, including the mobile application for athletes and the web portal for partners.

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Platform Overview

HerPlayBook is a platform designed to connect female athletes with partners such as coaches, sponsors, and scouts through:

  • A mobile application for athletes
  • A web portal for partners (free and verified access)

The platform enables athletes to build profiles, upload media, track achievements, and share their journey, while partners can discover and connect with athletes.

3. User Roles

3.1 Athletes

Athletes use the mobile application to:

  • Create and manage profiles
  • Upload media and achievements
  • Control visibility of content
  • Connect with other users
3.2 Partners

Partners include coaches, sponsors, and scouts who access the web portal.

There are two access levels:

  • Free users (limited visibility)
  • Verified users (expanded access and messaging)

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account security
  • Keeping login credentials confidential
  • All activity under your account

5. Verification

5.1 Athlete Verification

Athletes may submit documentation for verification.
 Verification is reviewed and approved by platform administrators.

Verified athletes receive a visible verification indicator.

5.2 Partner Verification

Partners must submit role-based documents (e.g., ID, business proof, affiliation).
 Verification is required to access full athlete profiles and messaging.

HerPlayBook reserves the right to approve, reject, or request additional information.

6. Profile and Content

6.1 Profile Information

Athletes can create a public profile card visible to all users, containing general information, goals, and highlights.

Additional profile details may be restricted based on visibility settings.

6.2 Media Content

Users may upload photos and videos. Athletes can:

  • Mark media as featured
  • Set visibility as public or private
  • Control what is shared with partners

Only content marked as visible will be accessible to others.

7. Platform Access Levels

7.1 Free Access

Free users can:

  • View public profile cards
  • Access limited athlete information
7.2 Verified Access

Verified users can:

  • View full athlete profiles
  • Access media and detailed information
  • Communicate via messaging

8. Messaging

Verified users may communicate through the platform.

You agree not to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited promotions
  • Harass, abuse, or exploit other users
  • Use messaging for unlawful purposes

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity
  • Upload false or misleading information
  • Use the platform for illegal or harmful activities
  • Attempt to access restricted data without authorization

10. Data and Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload.

By using the platform, you grant HerPlayBook a limited license to:

  • Display your content within the platform
  • Share it according to your visibility settings

11. Platform Purpose

The platform is designed to capture ongoing athlete journeys, not just static profiles, enabling better visibility for opportunities and partnerships.

12. Suspension and Termination

HerPlayBook may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are violated
  • False information is provided
  • Verification fails

13. Limitation of Liability

HerPlayBook is not responsible for:

  • User interactions or agreements
  • Accuracy of user-provided data
  • Outcomes of partnerships or opportunities

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use means acceptance of updates.
